Answers
- How do you work with your clients?
I believe in clear and consistant communication with my clients. I provide free 30 minute consultations so that we can discuss your projects and your needs. After the consultation, I submit a bid to the client for their review. Upon acceptance, I draw up a simple contract for services agreed upon and send it to the client. Once the client signs the contract and provides a down payment I begin the project according to our agreed upon timeline. I will email the client samples of the work and communicate with them via email or phone. Once we have agreed upon a design, I finalized the design and submit it to the client for review. During the review process the client can provide edits. Once the client has signed off on the final product, I send the work to the client or vendor via email or post (at client's request). All original artwork for the project is available to the clients at their request. Final payment is due upon the approval of the final artwork. - Who are your typical clients?
My clients range from large businesses to non profits to small businesses. I can work with all clients and I have special interest in helping small business owners develop their marketing strategies to grow their business.
- What type of design work do you do?
I can do a variety of design work. I have experience designing: - book covers
- powerpoint presentations
- business cards
- brochures
- flyers
- postcards
- banners
- car magnets
- website banners
- website graphics
- What do you charge for your work?
Fees for my services will vary by the project. I typically charge an hourly amount and I project the amount of hours in my proposal. The length of a project is subject to change however, I will communicate with the client if that is the case.
- What type of payments do you accept?
I accept cash, money orders, cashiers checks and paypal (which allows for credit card payments).
- Are you my employee when I hire you for a project?
No, I work exclusively as an independent contractor and I have a contract that states clearly our relationship.
- Where can I view samples of your work?
You can view samples of my work on the gallery page of this website or I can provide samples in person when we meet for a consultation.
- Does my graphic project include cost of printing? How do you work wih a printer?
I do not include the price of printing with my services. Printing is the responsibility of the client, however I will consult with the printer of your choice and make sure they receive the files in their requested format. I can provide you with low cost ways to produce your project - if you don't have a printer.
- What if I want to end the project before it is completed?
It is no problem to cancel a project. I simply keep the down payment and will invoice you for hours spent beyond the deposit amount. Please note: I do keep a detailed time sheet of hours worked for the client's and my convenience.
- I would like to use a particular image, can we do that?
I can use images that are owned by the client. I can also help the client acquire professional images from photo banks at a reasonable price. I can not use any copyrighted image that you do not own.
